January is here at last, and with it the release of my latest novel, Lover's Knots. Lover's Knots is a gay historical set on a British ship-of-the-line during the Napoleonic period. I've been a huge fan of the British Navy since I was a little girl, and I took the excuse writing Lover's Knots offered to go to Great Britain and visit the old shipyards. I had a blast crawling around the Victory and the Warrior.
My next book will be a departure from anything I've done so far. Seven Devils is a modern Western with a strong thread of suspense. I'm 1/3 finished and hope to have it to my publisher by the middle of the year at the latest. I also have two short stories in the works, so I've got plenty to keep me busy over the long winter.
